Poetic Terms Assignment: Pick a term from the list below. Search for information about the term on the web, through the information resources that Kristina De Voe has shown us, or in The Bedford Glossary of Literary and Critical Terms.
For your term:
- click on the link to your term below. that will take you a page on which you can create a description of that term
- provide a brief description of the term (you can quote from a source, but you must cite that source)
- provide an example of the use of your term
- if possible, find an example of the use of your term in one of the poems we have read so far this semester
- provide a link or a few links to resources on the web about that term.
- sign your page by typing four tildes (~) in a row at the bottom, like this: ~~~~
- hit "show preview" to preview your page, and save page to save your page
- don't forget to save your page!!

NOTE/UPDATE: to create a break between two lines of poetry, type a line break tag ( <br /> ) after every line.
