Ok so part of this weeks assignment is to write this blog about an iusses related to our course. I feel that we dont have enough time to complete them. The main reason I took online courses was because I have a full tim,e job and dont have the time to go to night school. I was told that I can go on at my own leisure do my assignments and finish my semester and go on. I know we get new assignments but I feel that a weeks time is just not enough to do all of our research and create pages especially when we never did them before. Plus with all of our other day to day activites or even other courses it seems hard to complete.
I didnt know much about wikis until I started with this class. I came up on this article and realized it was a bit funny in the same way intersteing as to how much is put out there.

So yet another “friend” page is created. This allows you to make friends and comment with them as well. It allows the creation of blogs and commenting on them as well.
It seems that these types of sites are the upand coming thing for allowing people to make new friends and also keep in contact with the ones they have had for a long time.

I thought that this skit was very funny…
While watching the clips I did see that they both opened up via you tube but you had different options on each one. On the you tube actual site you had size control of your view as oposed to watching the clip ion the wiki and being resricted to the size it was create din. In you tube you also see more of his body and see his actual body gestures and the fact that he does hold a cigarette during the performance. You can also share the video clip, save it and comment about it for the public to see.
When I first started reading this book I was having a hard time getting into it. I had to re-read pages to get a better understanding of what was happening. i never read a book that jumps from story to story the way this one does.
I am now into the book and am enjoying it. It becomong a hard one to put down.
I see that now Nell has the Primer she has a chance to become a better person and not be caught up in the ways of her mother and brother. She is being taught words and how to spell them.
I always felt that reading a book you should be able to feel or even visualize the story ocurring around you. Being able to become one with the book is one thing, did not think that the book that created its story based on the owner. I guess every little girl out there would love to have a story created about her especially being a princess. I know I would have loved that growing upi.
I do fear for Nells brother Harv only because he loves his sister so much I feel that he wont be around to fully protect her as she grows. He has made bad choices up to know and they will catch up to him.
I am really excited about the journey that will unfold and the learning experience from it.
After completing the first 60 pages as per our assignement, I have to say that this is going to be a hard book to put down.
This novel takes place in the 21st century, what we all thought it would be like by then. As we can see that this is not what has occurred and probably wont happen for a while. We see that there is still discrimanation, racial gangs, the rich and the poor. Even tho this takes place in Shangai and not the US, doesnt mean that it would not be any different form city to city.
E ven as we see technology changing in front of our eyes everday, this book also shows that people must still survive, by working, learning, creating tp make life better. And for those that connot work how they still live on the streets, rob the rich.
I feel that this novel is going to take us to new levels of technology but also show us that certain things have not changed and will probably not be affected as far as we advance.
