Lessig made great points on his video about Copyright. He stated four great statements “Creativity and innovation always builds on the past, The past always tries to control the creativity that builds upon it, Free societies enable the future by limiting this power of the past and Ours is less and less a free society.” It is amazing to see how the world of technology had improved. Also, how we are not aware of how the freedom of culture is being taken away from us. I think that we all have the right for free exchange of information. Free information is good and benefit everyone. I found this Blog of a lady who thought that posting original work in the Internet was a violation of the law. She was anwered that Bloggers inform the world of their opinions .Bloggers are not copyright violators.
There was this blog posted 4-15-2007 it said that his “myspace” subscription got suspended, because they received a notice from the copyright owner claiming he was infringing its rights. Now he had to go through a copyright education program. He is letting know everyone to be careful about copyright. But we need to get more educated about “copyright” to help our culture be free. Thanks to Lessig who is a lawyer I learned about the history of copyright. We are talking about the year 1790.

Social Network are the younger generations safe?
Social Networking is a social structure made of nodes which are generally individuals or organizations. Individuals with connections have access to the information given. Which make it unsafe for the younger generations. Social Network is is good for companies to interact with each other. Social Network is helpful for the business world. Advertisements can be made and you can get answers to many of your questions through others. I know people who let their children have access to certain social network. They say that they are constantly checking on them, because it is difficult to predict when a preditor log into their page. I believe that Social Network is for people who has nothing to do, is not safe and is not private. There are different ways to communicate. Why choose to communicate with someone you don’t know.
Educational institutions should look forward for social networking sites to help the younger generations spend their free time doing valuables things.

A data bank would be built up in stages in computer memory. An important feature of the data bank would be the possibility of analyzing parts of the system represented by the bank topological networks. Such networks, are completely specified by the types of entity and their interconnections. The file would be structured so that a form of input and output analysis could be undertaken in terms of a variety of variables.
Groups, Organizations, foundations or individuals will register via a computer, perhaps anonymously, their interest in participating in programmes in a particular field. Communication and eduaction will benefit from it.

Reflections on the Internet, Business, and Society
an article by Manuel Castells
This article is the best article ever. It talks about the history of the internet. How the Internet was launched in 1969. We all know that the Internet is a large network that connects together smaller network all over the globe. In this article you can read how it was believed that computer wasn’t going to be needed at homes. But, today this cannot be said.
Arpanet, the main source of what ultimately became the Internet, was an unentended consequence of a research progam going sideways. It was rooted in a scientific dream to change the world through computer communication(pg.19).
We all should know that Internet is the most popular Internet activity. We can communicate around the world. Many business has grown thanks to the Internet.

Hi everyone! Today I was reading the newspaper an ad of pets’ dental care. It says that a new study by the American Veterinary Dental Society shows that 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of 3 have dental disease. I hope anyone who has a dog is taking care of their denture. In the article was a part that talk about that the NYC and animal control was looking for a shelter(nice home) for some dogs and cats that were for adoptions. I have two dogs which I paid plenty of money to have them. One day someone opened the gates and they walked out. Someone found them and took them to NYC and animal control. Next day I went looking for my dogs. I brought proof that they were mine. They said they couldn’t give them to me because during the night they were going to be spayed and neutered. My dogs were not given back to me until next day. I don’t think it was fair. Why not give me my dog back?. I think that before they spayed and neutered a dog they should way at least few hrs to see if they hear anything from the owner. What do you think? My dogs were very expensive to be spayed and neutered.
