I’m going to talk about environmental issues in NYC. Why? because it is important to know what going on to the environment in which we live in and what is being done to prevent environmental issues. Today there are thousands of people living in NYC that use motor vehicles instead finding an alternative that would benefit the environment such as, walking, biking, taking the train etc. It wouldn’t only help the environment but it would benefit us like exercising, after all we are considered the most obese people in the world, and growing. Researches say that obesity is rising faster in NYC than nationally.

Okay — but that is a VERY large topic. Can you think about a few ways to make it more specific? What aspects of obesity in America interest you? Do you want to look into a specific age group — why, for example, toddlers these days might be more obese than they were in the past? Or are you interested in a specific cause of obesity, such as fast food? Doing as much work as you can to make your topic more specific will help you find sources more easily and to write a paper that includes fewer generalizations.

A Global Graveyard for Dead Computers in Ghana. This is about people in Ghana breaking up computers for the interior cables and wires. The most desired parts were copper other than aluminum, or zinc. Many of these people are treated really badly, and really poorly. These pictures are really telling the reader that Ghana is a really poorly treated country,

Carr, Nicholas. “Avatars Consume as Much Electricity as Brazilians.” Rough Type. 5 December 2006. Web.
This article is really interesting. It is basically about how much carbon dioxide do we produce from making google searches. Many people including I, don’t realize how much it effects out environment when searching on google. -
The ad is avertising an energy dirnk. It shows a couple on a date probably because the women is dressed with a pink tight sleeveless low cut dress and the gentleman is basically dressed with a tie.

I first looked at it and thought something completely different and didn’t realize it was for an advertisement for an energy drink. “Fake is for last night, not handbags” doesn’t really relate to handbags. It quite relates to the fact that women are fake on dates, as the picture behind the saying shows a woman [...]

Amarican Aparell as we all know advertises clothing. Specifically speaking women. The ads with women are shown in a way that it would make women interested on their product. Women are shown wearing their bras and panties. Personally i think that these women arent doing the wrong thing, in other words no one should criticize what [...] -

I don’t think everyone starts with the same opportunities. America is known for the migration of immigrants from around the world. When immigrants arrive here have different opportunities such as one might have had a great job in his/her recent country and may have traveled here for a better job, and another might have been rich and migrated here for vacation purposes.

In the ”Modest Proposal” by Jonathan Swift Across the country poor catholic children are living in a squalor because their families are too poor to keep them fed and clothed. Hes proposal in effect is to fatten up these undernourished children and feed them to Ireland’s rich land owners. Children of the poor couold be sold into a meat market at the age of one, he argues thus battling overpopulation and unemployment, sparing families the expense of child bearing while providing them with little extra income, improving the culinary experience of the wealthy and contributing to the overall economic well being of the nation. He also anticipates that the practice of selling and eating children will have positive effects on family morality. Husbands will treat their wives with more respect.
