After technology has become a necessity in our lives today, recent research have a different opinion. The two resources I’ve read about the computer graveyard in Ghana and enviornmental imapct of googling can proof the damages technology can leave behind. Something should be done about old computers like recyclings them instead of burying them in poor countries and causing damages to the people and their land. personally I’ve always threw away my computer after it’s dameged but never thought about where it end up. Similarly for the enviornmental effects of searching using google. I did not think that using the internet can release CO2 I just though that it only waste energy.
Totally unexpected, I didn’t realize it was an energy drink but I knew the ad was trying to catch women’s attention from the handbag to the women in pink dress sitting at the table. It’s advertising a low in cal. energy drink for females. The drink appear in a martini glass in front of a fit women. This portray the confidence and strenght of women specially when going on dates. This ad say that women need to be energetic but at the same time fit.
Slavoj Zizek clarifies in his lecture a matter that I personally did look up to. He is telling us that the charity we give to the poor is a temporary solution to their circumstances. We ought to give them the change they can really benefit from permanently.
